Data Storytelling & Insights
Craft compelling narratives and proactive insights that influence prioritization and strategy.
Deliver executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations with minimal direction.
Domain Expertise
Become the go-to expert in a specific area of the business, understanding it better than anyone else.
Define and manage KPIs that align with business goals and performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a key resource across teams, providing strategic guidance and analysis.
Act as a consultant for cross-team initiatives, leveraging your influence to drive impact.
Technical Excellence
Utilize advanced SQL skills to develop and maintain robust data queries and pipelines.
Build high-quality reports and visualizations using industry-standard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
Raise the bar for analytical quality, ensuring team deliverables are accurate, scalable, and insightful.
Operational Leadership
Monitor and adjust work queues based on team priorities.
Identify and communicate project risks early.
Unblock team members and proactively manage project lifecycles from ideation to delivery.
Training & Mentorship
Lead SQL and data literacy training for new team members.
Educate internal teams on how to interpret and explore data products effectively.
Propose and implement improvements to Analytics team tools and best practices.
Communication & Influence
Translate complex data into insights that are easy to understand at all levels of the organization.
Influence strategic decision-making through data and storytelling.
Requirements

Experience:

2-6 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Advanced SQL required; strong experience with BI/reporting tools.

Business Acumen:

Deep understanding of business operations and how data drives decision-making.

Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to mentor others and lead data projects end-to-end.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
