This position, within the Enterprise Systems Analyst job familyof IT, will have a shared responsibility between providing firstlevel application and technical support of the PowerPlan relatedapplications and other Enterprise applications/security. PowerPlanis the primary application supported by this E position. The idealcandidate will have a solid technical knowledge of the PowerPlanapplications while also possessing a balance of excellent customerservice skills and general technical abilities. Additionalresponsibilities will include supporting the Infor CloudSuite SaaSapplications/security, support of SaaS budgeting systems, andsupport/development of reporting solutions. Responsibilities forany and all Enterprise applications will evolve throughout theyears as business and IT support needs change. Desired is acandidate with an ability to listen to customer needs and takeaction to design/implement/test systems/solutions that exceedcustomer requirements. The ideal candidate will be technical, aself-starter, a communicator and an employee who thrives onmulti-tasking. The Enterprise Systems Analyst is responsible forconducting comprehensive system analysis, designing andimplementing appropriate information systems in accordance with thecompany’s overarching information systems architecture. This rolerequires a deep understanding of business needs, systemrequirements, and the ability to recommend and execute technologysolutions to improve business processes. The analyst willspecialize in a set of enterprise applications including systemssuch as Maximo, Infor, SharePoint, etc. or business areas such asfinance/accounting, HR, supply chain, etc. Key tasks include butare not limited to collecting and analyzing information from systemusers, identifying business needs, estimating the cost of systemsolutions, and preparing project plans. The Enterprise SystemsAnalyst will also be responsible for building and developingapplication tables/panels/reports, troubleshooting and resolvingtesting issues, providing tier 2 and tier 3 support to end users,and conducting research to identify possible system solutions. Thisposition requires a strong customer service focus, positiveattitude, and excellent oral and written communications skills.
Responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations,industry standards, corporate policies, guidelines and procedures,including but not limited to, RUS, OSHA, SOX, NERC, FERC and ITSrequirements. Promotes an environment of compliance and continuousimprovement to meet the Corporation’s goals and objectives.
JobDuties:
System Implementation & Support:
Implements and configuresEnterprise System applications, develops external interfaces,troubleshoots testing issues, and provides tier 2 and tier 3support to end users.
System Analysis & Design:
Collects andanalyzes information from system users, identifies business needs,and formulates the scope and objectives of the system. Translatesbusiness requirements into application requirements.
ProjectManagement & Planning:
Prepares project plans, coordinatesresources, and manages consultants in system development andproblem-solving techniques. Assists IT and customer director levelmanagement with the project approval process. Documentation ℜsearch: Prepares and maintains technical documentation, conductsresearch to identify possible system solutions, and documents therelationships between the components of the application system.
Standards Development:
Coordinates the development of standards andstandard procedures to support a productive, secure, efficientEnterprise Application environment.
Continuous Improvement:
Engagesin continuous improvement activities to enhance system performanceand reliability. Provides technical expertise across the ITfunction.
Required Qualifications:
Education :
A Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, InformationSystems, or a related field from an accredited college oruniversity.
Experience :
Level III
- Minimum of 4 years indesigning and managing Enterprise systems, conducting systemassessments, and troubleshooting. Level IV
- Minimum of 6 years indesigning and managing Enterprise systems, conducting systemassessments, and troubleshooting. Level V
- Minimum of 8 years inarchitecting and managing Enterprise systems, conducting systemassessments, and troubleshooting.
Equivalent Experience :
Level III
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
Level IV
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience may also beconsidered. Level V
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experiencemay also be considered.
Responsibility :
Level III
- Independentlymanages Enterprise systems, implements new initiatives, andconducts system assessments and troubleshooting. Begins to leadsmall projects and works closely with other teams to ensureseamless integration and operation of systems. Level IV
- Leadsprojects for the design, deployment, and management of Enterprisesystems. Takes on a leadership role in system design andtroubleshooting, and provides technical support across the ITfunction. Level V
- Oversees major projects for the design,deployment, and management of Enterprise systems.
Providesleadership in system design and troubleshooting, and providesexpert technical support across the IT function. Licenses,Certifications, and/or
Registrations :
The following relevantcertifications are a plus: Project Management Professional (PMP)Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Specialized Skills:
Technical Expertise:
Extensive experience with Enterprise systemsimplementation and management. Proficiency in project managementand system analysis. Strong knowledge of business processimprovement and quality assurance.
Tools and Technologies:
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with various Enterprise systems and solutions.
Proficient in documentation and reporting Proficient in scriptinglanguages (JavaScript, Python). Experience with ITSM tools such asServiceNow, Ivanti ITSM, etc.
Security:
In-depth understanding ofdata/program security best practices. Experience with securitytools and technologies.
Other:
Knowledge of ITIL processes and bestpractices. Experience in managing third-party vendors and contractsExperience in managing and leveraging APIs, REST services, etc.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills andattention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication andinterpersonal skills. Excellent customer service focus and positiveattitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
