As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be responsible for designing analytics-based tools which are technically sophisticated yet easy to understand and use by business teams to support strategic initiatives and ongoing business processes. You’ll develop solutions that leverage and expand upon the company Business Intelligence (BI) platform with deliverables ranging from description and diagnostic reporting to predictive and prescriptive decision automation.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Identify, lead and deliver efforts to build reports, visualizations and dashboards using BI tools and practices, with solution designs that leverage statistical approaches, machine learning and related disciplinesEngage with stakeholders across the organization to align priorities, communicate solution design tradeoffs and recommendations, and build and execute development plansDesign user interfaces, tool screens and end user workflows to maximize understandability of information, ease of use and alignment with GXO aesthetic and usability standardsContinuously improve technical design patterns, workflows and tools; define and enforce standards to sustain the platform’s effectiveness and sustainabilityExperiment with and promoting adoption of new tools and approachesProactively generalize and share technical approaches and best practices among other developersSimplify and communicate success stories to broader audiences across the companySupport end users to ensure they have reliable access to and understanding of data they need to do their jobs effectivelyWhat you need to succeed at
GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience1 year of experience in business intelligence and data analyticsExperience researching and processing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets with data querying languages, BI Tools and programming languagesIt’d be great if you also have:
Solid understanding of data warehouse conceptsIntermediate or advanced SQL skillsExperience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Google Big QueryMBA or master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
