JOB SUMMARY
The
SAP FICO
(Financial Accounting and Controlling) Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the Finance and Controlling module of SAP to support existing financial solutions, provide continuous improvements, and support new SAP initiatives in the finance area. The main responsibility of this position is to deliver solutions using standard methodologies in SAP financial systems. This individual must be able to collaborate with various business functions and subject matter experts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of
SAP FI & CO
modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury/Banking, Taxes, Asset Accounting, Cost Element and Cost Center Accounting, Cost Controlling, Internal Orders, and Cost-Based Accounting. Act as SME for business users, translating financial and operational needs into scalable SAP solutions. Drive SAP system improvements, enhancements, and optimizations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate
SAP FICO
with SD, MM, PP, and other SAP modules for end-to-end business process improvements. Provide hands-on technical expertise, including ABAP debugging, configuration, and working with user exits, enhancements, and BAPIs. Partner with global IT teams to streamline business processes, improve system efficiency, and troubleshoot complex issues. Support data migration activities, ensuring seamless data integrity across financial transactions and reporting. Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of the

module Develop and maintain documentation for Enterprise Application FRICE development and changes specific to PIP’s financial operations Ensure compliance with financial regulatory standards, integrating necessary controls within SAP. Define detailed technical and functional specifications for all developments, ensuring consistency across global financial processes.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of hands-on
SAP FICO
experience, including configuration and technical development. Strong understanding of
SAP FICO
module and financial process optimization in both SAP S/4 HANA and
SAP ECC 6
environments Experience with SAP implementation projects and operations support Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Experience integrating
SAP FICO
with SD, MM, WM, PP, and other key modules. Hands on mapping, implementing, testing and troubleshooting the EDI/API interfaces Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP technology Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Experience with other ERP systems such as Epicor Eclipse is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
