Job Description

  • We are seeking an SAP Implementation Specialist based inour Raleigh office to drive SAP integration across all operational areas, witha strong focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM), Product Lifecycle Management(PLM), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

This role will enhanceproject outcomes, manufacturing processes, and supply chain efficiency whileserving as a vital link between local operations and global initiatives. Thespecialist will address daily SAP-related challenges at our GT NA locations,including customization, master data, and process optimization within SCM andFinancials (FI). They will work primarily from the Raleigh office with remoteflexibility as needed, conducting workshops, meetings, and consultations bothin-person and virtually. Additionally, they will collaborate with aninternational team of SAP key users to ensure local requirements areeffectively integrated into the global

  • How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
  • + Optimize and enhance processes using SAP to improveoperational efficiencies and performance for Grid Technologies North America + Develop and implement SAP-based solutions for ERPprocesses, applying standard SAP tools to meet local and global needs,specifically in the areas of SCM, PLM, and M.

E.S.. + Provide consultancy and support on daily business processissues, ensuring alignment with broader company strategies. + Implement standardized ERP process modules to minimizedisruptions in business processes, particularly those affecting supply chainoperations. + Act as the primary local contact for the development anddeployment of the new

system, ensuring flawless integration andfunctionality across all critical areas including SCM, PLM, and M.E.S.. + Lead local organizational changes for the Manufacturing& Quality division, optimally presenting upcoming changes from the new SAPsystem and coordinating requirement gathering from the GT NA businesses

  • What You Bring (requirements)
  • + University degree or equivalent experience in one of thefollowing Engineering, Accounting, or related fields.

+ Solid understanding of SAP logistics modules (SD, MM, PP,QM) and basic understanding of LO, (E)WM, and CO (in conjunction with PP). + Demonstrable experience with SAP applications passionateabout plant processes and a deep understanding of SCM, PLM, and M.E.Sintegrations within the SAP landscape. + Proficient in documenting processes and knowledgeable aboutSAP table relationships and database structures for setting up queries. + Great communication skills for effective local and globalinteraction. + Willingness to travel occasionally for global collaborationand NA site training. + Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in theUnited States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored workauthorization.
