About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to join our Wholesale Operations Data, Analytics and Reporting Team (DAR), specifically in support of Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Operations. This position entails using business analysis and data analytics skills to solve problems, design metrics/reports, perform analysis, provide feedback, and deliver insights to Operations, including senior leaders, to better run their business. This includes areas related but not limited to controls, data quality, process insights, productivity, capacity, and other CIB performance/risk metrics. In this role, you will: Translate Business Needs to Technical Specs
- Capture and convert business requirements into technical intelligence specifications; oversee the delivery of data, analytics, and reporting solutions for CIB and Wholesale Operations in collaboration with DAR, Technology, and other internal stakeholders. Lead Operational Data Support
- Take a lead role in supporting CIB Operations across all relevant DAR areas by developing a deep understanding of business operations, processes, controls, technology, and the data stack. Collaborate for Insight Generation
- Work closely with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to assess business needs and deliver actionable insights and trends using data visualization and business intelligence tools. Drive BI Initiatives and Planning
- Lead or contribute to moderately complex BI initiatives and support large-scale planning efforts to ensure consistent and clear delivery of business intelligence outputs. Analyze and Visualize Complex Data
- Review and interpret moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges using advanced data interpretation and visualization methods to create diagnostic analytics and dashboards. Resolve Issues and Guide Teams
- Independently address moderately complex data-related issues and lead teams in producing intuitive, compelling outputs that inform business decisions and strategy. Design with Data and User Focus
- Use strong knowledge of data structures, domain-specific expertise, and user experience principles to shape final data visualization products such as dashboards, reports, and analytical insights. Lead Projects and Mentor Staff
- Manage projects and working groups while serving as a mentor to junior team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing. Promote Data-Driven Culture
- Champion the adoption of insights and metrics across the organization to support a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of business analysis and intelligence experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Experienced in preparing management reports and conducting data analysis, with a focus on creating clear, impactful PowerPoint presentations that simplify complex topics for executive audiences

Industry Expertise:
Proven experience in one or more Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) verticals, including Markets, Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and Banking.
Strategic Analysis & Change Leadership:
Strong background in business analysis and change management, with a track record of driving successful transformation initiatives.
Execution Excellence:
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outcomes with precision, supported by exceptional communication and analytical skills.
Visual Storytelling:
Skilled in designing and delivering impactful visuals that clearly convey complex ideas, tailored for diverse audiences, formats, and communication channels.
Data-Driven Insights:
Experience translating complex business objectives and data into compelling visual narratives that support automation, control enhancements, data quality improvements, and business intelligence.
Innovation & Emerging Tech:
Familiarity with rapidly evolving technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), and their application in optimizing business processes and decision-making.
Job Expectations:
Ability to work at one of the posted locations below on a hybrid schedule of three (3) days in office and two (2) days from home. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Ability to work additional hours as needed.
