Lead Integration Analyst II Primary Responsibilities for the

Lead Integration Analyst II:
  • Evaluate, model and design SAP PI/PO and SAP BTP interfaces to construct and support interfaces based on approved business needs.
  • Configure interfaces to use various
SAP PI/PO

adapters and route traffic to Carpenter non-SAP systems, internal and external to the CTC enterprise.

  • Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions between on-premise SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud IBP through SAP HCI using
SAP CPI-DS

agents.

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support CPI-DS integrations with
SAP S/4HANA.
  • Oversee and manage
SAP HCI/CPI-DS, , CPI-DS

tasks, and process promotions.

  • Oversee and promote required CPI-DS changes into QA and production environments following strictly defined change management processes.
  • Create interface, process chains, documentation, and test plans. Work with SAP functional teams in developing mappings and field validations for existing and new integrations.
  • Monitor all scheduled workload and processes for
SAP CPI-DS

for successful execution.

  • Lead error detection and resolution efforts for failed CPI-DS processes.
  • Manage all jobs and processes scheduled and controlled in Redwood BPA for Carpenter SAP.
  • Create or adjust scheduled jobs and processes as per the requirement of business.
  • Monitor all scheduled workload and processes for successful execution.
  • Lead resolution of any failures ensuring that jobs are restarted or rerun successfully to meet the needed business intent.
  • Communicate and involve responsible team members for error or problem resolution.
  • Build and distribute daily job failure report for distribution to the proper parties for resolution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, business users, IT teams, and external partners or vendors to gather requirements, align integration strategies, and manage expectations. Building strong relationships and fostering collaboration to ensure successful delivery of integration projects.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of integration documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, providing guidance to the project team as needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and scalable integration solutions that meet the needs of the client.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, in a relevant field in Computer Science (programming concepts, software development, and/or database design).

SAP certifications in areas such as ABAP programming, SAP HANA, and

SAP S/4 HANA

required. Master’s degree preferred but not required.

  • Applicant must be
ITAR/EAR

compliant, United States Citizen or Green Card Holder with English as primary language.

  • Ability to travel within and outside United States for business related requirements.
  • 10+ years of experience with: Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its functions.

Strong hands-on PO integration and middleware tools. Hands on experience with PI/PO integration technologies in the following areas: Service Repository and Integration Directory; Data mappings, XSLT mappings, EDI and XML communications, Proxies, interface definitions, and XSDs; Configuration and implementation of PI/PO adapter types (IDoc, RFC, JDBC, File, SOAP, WS, JMS, HTTP, REST and Proxy); Configuration, design, development, Message monitoring; adapter logs, adapter engine status, communication channels etc. Working knowledge of JAVA transactions, interface/dialog programming, ALE and IDOC’s, RFC’s, module pools, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, Batch Programming, IDOC development and maintenance, Data Dictionary, Function Modules, and other repository objects. Strong working experience in ABAP enhancements, ABAP Proxies, Rfc, IDocs, ALE configuration, Partner profiles, Ports, Enhancements, error processing, troubleshooting. Experienced in non-SAP middleware to SAP middleware conversion projects. Hands-on experience with

SOAP, REST, JDBC, MAIL, FILE, HTTP

adapters. At least 2-3 full lifecycles of SAP Interface implementation experience. Experience developing software in SAP NetWeaver Java Stack environments. Experience with configuring and developing PI/PO alert monitoring. Experience configuring & developing interfaces in

SAP PI/PO

instance and

IDOCS. SAP

NetWeaver Gateway and OData services. Developing and optimizing ABAP code for performance on

S/4 HANA

platform. Experience with SAP BTP integration tools, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Mobile Services, and SAP Extension Suite. Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio for application development and deployment on SAP BTP.

  • Proficiency in leveraging SAP BTP services for advanced analytics, machine learning, and real-time data processing preferred.
