Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Package Specialist SAP Basis opening for our client in Raleigh, NC.

Location:
Raleigh, NC or Greensboro, NC Duration:

11 months

Duties:

Provide SAP Basis administration support including installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP environments. Support integration between SAP and CyberArk for secure credential management. Manage and maintain SAP systems running on AIX platforms, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Perform system upgrades, patching, and backups for SAP landscapes. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless SAP operations. Create and maintain documentation for SAP system architecture, configurations, and procedures. Provide support for SAP transports, client copies, system refreshes, and performance tuning. Respond to system alerts, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Skills:

Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration and operations. Knowledge of SAP-CyberArk integration for secure credential management. Familiarity with SAP environments operating on AIX, including basic AIX administration skills. Proficient in SAP system monitoring and performance optimization. Understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture and components. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration. Hands-on experience with SAP systems on AIX operating systems. Proven experience integrating SAP with CyberArk or similar credential management tools. Experience in supporting large-scale enterprise SAP landscapes.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
