Hourly Contract Schedule:
Wednesday through Sunday; mix of night, weekend, and some day shifts

960 hours (possible extension) About The Job We are looking for a Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL 7) to support critical system operations and infrastructure stability.
Job Duties:
Provide advanced administration, support, and troubleshooting for RHEL 7 systems in a production environment. Perform system maintenance, patching, and performance tuning during off-peak hours to minimize user impact. Support critical infrastructure with a focus on uptime, security, and operational continuity. Collaborate with other teams to manage system updates, backups, and configuration changes. Proactively identify and resolve issues related to system health, availability, and performance. Document procedures and changes to maintain accurate records and ensure knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
Strong, hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 in enterprise or large-scale environments. Deep understanding of Linux system internals, networking, storage, and security best practices. Experience with system monitoring, automation tools, and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.). Ability to work independently during non-standard hours with minimal supervision. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
