Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Responsibilities
Provide techno-functional expertise for PeopleSoft ERP and related systems supporting municipal water utility operations
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance business capabilities, manage system configurations, and oversee business process flows
Stay current with finance application trends and industry best practices to implement innovative solutions
Work alongside the ERP Technical Manager to develop Help Desk procedures and maintain documentation of systems, SLAs, and support protocols
Perform business process analysis, design, and optimization
Troubleshoot using tools like SQL and code tracing
Understand integration points between PeopleSoft, PowerPlan, EPBCS, and other systems
Gather and document business requirements
Create functional specifications and solution designs
Conduct user training and create documentation
Translate business needs into system solutions
Perform user acceptance testing and develop test scripts
Maintain a basic understanding of PeopleTools
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution
7+ years of experience in IT and ERP Application Support
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Expertise in PeopleSoft AP, GL, PC, and SCM modules
Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.59xx
Strong SQL knowledge
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work autonomously with proven self-management skills
PowerPlan experience preferred
Oracle Hyperion/FCCS/EPBCS experience preferred
