Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle SME to provide functional leadership and support for Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement modules. This role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring systems, and collaborating with users and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure effective system utilization. The ideal candidate will also contribute to documentation, training, and ongoing system support. Key Responsibilities
Functional Expertise
Provide in-depth functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA) and Procurement (PO, iProcurement) modules.
Analyze business requirements, design solutions, and configure systems in alignment with best practices.
Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement. Documentation & Training
Develop user documentation including process flows, functional specifications, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
Design and deliver training programs tailored to various user skill levels.
Mentor team members on system best practices and functional knowledge. Business User Collaboration
Engage with business users to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth module integration.
Promote adoption of standardized processes and best practices. System Support
Provide ongoing user support including issue resolution and functional troubleshooting.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
Stay current on Oracle EBS releases, patches, and features to implement relevant updates. Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a functional lead with Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement modules.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite (required).
Proven expertise in documenting business processes and developing training materials.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into system configurations.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of other ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle Cloud ERP.
Experience with Oracle EBS upgrades and implementations.
Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis within Oracle EBS.
