Overview:

We are seeking a Functional Lead who will support our client during the transition of their SAP systems to the SAP Private Cloud. This role will be responsible for managing functional support for all areas (HR, Treasury, Procurement, Finance, etc…) during the migration to the cloud, including incident resolution and reviewing enhancement requests. The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep functional knowledge across SAP modules, strong project management skills, and the ability to balance business continuity with the technical requirements of cloud migration.

Duties:

Conduct comprehensive functional assessments across HR, Treasury, Procurement, and Finance modules; document current configurations and business processes to ensure seamless preservation during cloud migration Serve as primary liaison between technical teams and business users across all modules; facilitate alignment on migration approach and manage cross-functional dependencies Establish escalation procedures for functional issues; triage and prioritize defects based on business impact; coordinate with SAP support and internal teams for timely resolution Review and evaluate enhancement requests for feasibility within RISE framework; prioritize based on business value while ensuring compliance with cloud best practices and SAP standards Oversee user acceptance testing across all functional modules; ensure end-to-end business process validation and regression testing; provide functional sign-off for go-live readiness Manage communication of migration impacts to business leadership; coordinate training for new cloud tools and support models; ensure smooth transition to cloud-based operations

Mandatory Qualifications:

10+ Years experience in

SAP S/4HANA

5+ years’ of demonstrated knowledge and experience managing functional teams across multiple SAP modules, preferably in Finance, HR, procurement, etc… 3+ years’ experience in 1909 or higher Must have SAP Certification in S/4HANA Proven experience leading in SAP cloud migrations with RISE with SAP Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi-workstream projects with diverse stakeholder groups Strong background in ITIL or similar service management frameworks Experience with incident escalation, problem resolution, and enhancement request management in enterprise SAP environments

Desirable Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field, or MBA preferred.
