EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Basis / Cloud Migration Consultant to lead and support complex technology projects, including cloud and S/4HANA migrations. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to deliver high-impact results across diverse SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute end-to-end SAP technology initiatives including installations, configurations, upgrades, migrations (OS/DB and Cloud), conversions, and greenfield implementations.
Provide expert BASIS support across HANA and S/4HANA environments.
Drive SAP cloud migration efforts across major hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Offer architectural guidance and best practices for secure and scalable SAP deployments in the cloud.
Design and implement robust security frameworks for SAP on-premise and cloud platforms, including two-factor authentication and single sign-on solutions.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and system performance.
Manage multiple tasks and project deliverables in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through clear communication and reliable support.
Stay up to date with SAP technology advancements and continuously apply new knowledge to ongoing projects.

Required Experience:

Proven expertise in SAP Basis, including technical planning, system installations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, and S/4HANA implementations.
Deep hands-on experience with

SAP HANA

platforms, including scale-out deployments, performance optimization, and data provisioning technologies (SLT, DXC, Data Services, Sybase Replication Server).
Fiori platform configuration and integration experience.
Cloud migration experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Strong skills in performance tuning, user administration, system copies, and Unicode conversions.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure project environments with shifting priorities.

Experience, Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of SAP Basis experience across diverse landscapes.
SAP Certifications in

S/4HANA, OS/DB

Migration, Hyperscalers, or

SAP HANA

are preferred.
Must have successfully completed at least 3 SAP cloud migration projects.

Compensation Range Transparency:

SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 135600 – 230600(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
