Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided forthis position is a nationwide market range and represents a broadrange of salaries for this role across the country. The actualsalary for this position will be determined by a number of factors,including the scope, complexity and location of the role; theskills, education, training, credentials and experience of thecandidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of ourcomprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are alsoeligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. Salary Range$129,200.00 – $213,200.00 Target Openings 2 What Is theOpportunity? We are looking for a passionate and results-focusedleader to join the Enterprise Customer Experience Journey Analyticsteam. This role is an exciting opportunity to build and transformworld class customer experiences across Travelers and drivemeasurable results by leveraging descriptive and diagnosticanalytics to optimize the journeys of our customers, employees, andbusiness partners. As a Director, Journey Analytics, you will leadcomplex analyses to quantify insights, identify opportunities, andpartner with the business to influence strategic businessdecisions. You will design and influence actionable, meaningfulsuccess metrics, and monitor and evaluate outcomes to identifyfurther optimization opportunities and communicate business resultsacross senior leaders. You will lead strategic businesspartnerships across multiple functional areas to consult on CXpriorities, influence strategic business decisions, ensure optimaloutcomes, and optimize value through solution identificationaligned with business strategies, and ensure future data direction.

What Will You Do? Leverage and/or build data and analytics, toinfluence business strategy to leadership by translating insightsinto business value. Be accountable for business analytics supportacross multiple initiatives. Use data visualization andstorytelling to leverage insights, communicate the business story,and influence solutions to senior leaders. Review and interpretcomplex data and identify trends to support Health of the Business.

Oversee the design and ensure the execution of Proofs of Conceptsleveraging various tools and techniques to develop capabilities.

Manipulate complex raw data (structured and unstructured) and worktowards the ultimate design required to meet business requests.

Monitor complex business results to determine if desired resultsare achieved and influence recommendations to management. Leveragecreative problem solving and deep technical and business knowledgeto answer complex questions from business partners and package in away to be used across senior leaders. Proactively coordinate withcross functional teams on varying business initiatives. Leverageindustry best practices, analytic tools and techniques, market dataand technology trends to identify and implement businessopportunities. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Bachelor’sdegree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics),Economics, Business, or related. Seven years of descriptiveanalytics or related experience working in the P&C industrywith knowledge of insurance products and concepts. Two years oftechnical team project leadership or people management experience.

Experience using and building business intelligence tools. Deepunderstanding of business functions, operations, analytic functionsand/or product of supported business line with the ability totranslate insights into business value. Deep technicalunderstanding of descriptive and diagnostic analytic processes,including multi-variate analysis, data quality, data reporting, anddata retrieval. Ability to effectively communicate, presenttechnical data and trends, and recommendations while understandingthe financial impact of the business. Ability to understandbusiness goals and identify best practices to execute and influenceothers. Awareness and adherence to established data managementpractices and standards. Strategic analytical and business mindset.
