RANGEThe Target PayRange for this position is $125,700.00-$153,600.00 annually. Thefull Pay Range is $97,400.00 – $181,800.00 annually. At BECU,compensation decisions are determined using factors such asrelevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training.

Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individualqualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentivesare available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performancebased and targets vary by role.

MAKEAs a Sr Enterprise Data& Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA), you won’t just crunchnumbers-you’ll shape how BECU turns data into smart decisions andmember-first innovations. You’ll be at the heart of designing anddelivering Data, Business Intelligence (BI) and Advanced Analyticssolutions that directly power better services for ourmembers.

Working closely with our Enterprise Data and BusinessIntelligence team and other data leaders across BECU, you’lluncover insights, bridge the gap between business needs and datacapabilities, and elevate how we use information to drive results.

You’ll take complex, cross-functional data initiatives from conceptto impact-and help others level up their skills along the way.

Whether you’re analyzing historical patterns or guiding teamsthrough BI design, your work will help shape smarter strategies andbetter member experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead the

Way:

Facilitate sessions with product owners, businesspartners, and tech teams to translate big ideas into clearlydocumented data and BI requirements.

Source & Shape Data:

Manage data sourcing, conduct gapanalyses, and document metadata and business rules in alignmentwith data governance principles.

Build Smarter Tools:

Partner with Product, Engineering, andArchitecture to bring data and BI solutions to life-from ideationto dashboards-especially on high-impact, complex initiatives.

Dig Deep Into Data:

Conduct exploratory analysis, generateworking hypotheses, and identify meaningful patterns in both rawand curated data.

Solve Real Problems:

Tackle tough data challenges withcreativity-dig into the root causes, propose smarter metrics, andshare learnings across the data community.

Ensure Data Quality:

Create and execute test plans, writevalidation scripts, and ensure data reliability across BI,regulatory, and analytics solutions. Model the

Future:

Design and maintain conceptual/logical datamodels that support enterprise initiatives and build out new dataofferings.

Standardize & Educate:

Develop and share policies, standards,and training materials to promote smarter and more efficient use ofBI tools and data. Be the

Data Translator:

Produce technical documentation, offertraining by persona, and empower stakeholders to confidentlyconsume data.

Prioritize Privacy & Compliance:

Integrate cybersecurity, dataprivacy and regulatory requirements into data designs and productstrategy.

Collaborate & Demo:

Lead walkthroughs and demos to showcase newdata and BI features to development and business partners.

Mentor Others:

Support and guide team members on systems,tools, and strategies to raise the bar for data fluency, adoptionand governance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, IT, Business orequivalent work/educational experience. Minimum seven years of related experience in data managementsolutions. Advanced proficiency in Business Intelligence as both PowerUser and Data Consumer. Proven experience bridging strategic and operational needs withtechnical solutions. Strong SQL and data modeling skills for both SQL and NoSQLrepositories. Expertise in Data and BI architecture, design and tools such asAlteryx, Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, etc. Working knowledge of Cloud Computing and associated practices. Familiarity with Azure, DataOps, and agile tools like AzureDevOps (ADO). Strong project management abilities.

Desired Qualifications Advanced degree preferred. Knowledge of Python, Snowflake, Databricks, ErWin, Alteryx,IDMC or other data quality & governance tools. Deep understanding of data engineering terminology andarchitecture.
