Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Navy clients on enterprise financial reporting and objectives
Gather customer inputs and advise on current tools and dashboards
Build Tableau dashboards with workforce data and financial dashboards for departmental reviews
Perform data mining and aggregating, querying multiple data sources
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, such as senior military and executive-level personnel, both internal and external
Import, clean, validate data, and interpret the results as input to decision making
Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications and reports
Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to identify asset flows and trends in data
Identify methods that should be used to collect, analyze, and manage data with the purpose of making recommendations to improve data quality and the efficiency of data systems
Interface across NAVWAR to acquire accurate reports and data
Evaluate, develop, and implement solutions within current business processes and process requirements to optimize efficiencies and effectiveness
Collect, consolidate, create, and provide all preparatory materials, briefings and reports for appointments and meetings. Provide meeting summary and track action items.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, or related field
1-3 years of DoD work experience
2-5 years total work experience in Business Intelligence
Advance knowledge of Tableau and other business intelligence tools
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other data presentation tools)
Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets
Statistical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
Proven time management and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring high-quality outcomes across all responsibilities
Ability to quickly transition and reassess priorities to meet aggressive deadlines

Advance knowledge of Tableau and other business intelligence tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Knowledge of NAVWAR and/or NIWC business practices including NERP, BIRA, and other financial systems
Preferred experience with Qlik and Databricks
Preferred knowledge of
SQL, JSON, and HTML Salary:
80k+ to align with experience and education
Schedule:
remote, based in San Diego, CA (Point Loma)
