Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join our team in supporting the Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) Special Support Operations (SSO) DAR team (Data Analytics and Reporting).

Your day-to-day work will include:

Design, develop, and deploy Power reports and dashboard based on requirements from stakeholders. Transform and model data using Power Query, DAX, and SQL to support decision-making Work with data architect, analysts, and end users to ensure data quality and consistency. Ensure compliance with Army data governance, security, and accessibility standards. Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews Support data integration from various data sources including SAP BW, Data Bricks, etc. Document processes report specifications, processes, and metadata in according with

standards. At a minimum you should have: An active SECRET Level Security Clearance with the ability to maintain and receive

Clearance (required US Citizenship). A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (scientific/engineering / IT fields). Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal, with various levels of stakeholders (interactions with senior stakeholders). 5-10 years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, and related experience. Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. 5+ Years Experience working inside DOD/Federal Government environments and/or with Federal Government/DOD data sources. 3+ years Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with SharePoint and Power Platform tools is a plus. 5 to 10 years Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team. 5 to 10 years Proven ability to elicit and document clear and actionable requirements. 5 years of experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Project, Visio, or Power Platform. 3 to 5 years of solid Understanding of data analysis concepts; ability to work with technical teams Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player.
