out of 5 stars 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301 Fayetteville Public Works Commission is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative BI & Analytics Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable business intelligence and analytics systems that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop business intelligence dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Create and optimize data models to support efficient analytics and reporting. Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with business users to gather and translate requirements into BI solutions. Support deployment of BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud and BI Publisher. Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Develop automated reporting solutions for recurring business needs. Build and maintain scalable Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions. Optimize and implement database solutions, primarily using Oracle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Proficiency in BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud and BI Publisher. Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data. Basic knowledge of Oracle Fusion Analytics and Oracle applications. Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake architecture. Basic scripting skills in Python or R for data processing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data visualization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments. Education, Experience, and Certifications Graduation from an accredited university or college with a degree in business, technology, data management, or a related field and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 1-3+ years of relevant experience for BI & Analytics Engineer Must possess and maintain one or more of the following certifications: Foundational certification in AI and Machine Learning Models (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure AI Foundations Associate) Professional or advanced certification in AI and Machine Learning Models (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud Professional) Or an equivalent certification Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
