The Oracle Fusion Reports Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced reporting solutions within Oracle Fusion Cloud applications using tools such as OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), BIP (Business Intelligence Publisher), FDI (Fusion Data Intelligence), and FRS (Financial Reporting Studio). This role requires a combination of technical expertise and business acumen, ensuring that complex reporting requirements are translated into scalable, efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will lead reporting initiatives, collaborate with implementation partners, and provide hands-on development support and will report to the Oracle Technical Architect on task responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Reporting Design & Development Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data models using OTBI, BIP, FDI, and FRS. Optimize SQL queries for accurate, efficient, and secure reporting. Develop custom formulas, configure subject areas, and implement security settings in OTBI. Build complex data models for reporting, ensuring high performance across Oracle Cloud Apps. Troubleshoot and enhance reporting solutions to improve efficiency and data integrity. Design & Architecture Lead the design and implementation of scalable reporting architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and security policies. Evaluate and recommend the best Oracle reporting tools for various business use cases. Establish best practices, standards, and governance for reporting implementations. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements. Act as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and implementation partners to ensure seamless reporting solutions. Translate complex business needs into technical reporting specifications.

Tool-Specific Expertise OTBI:

Design interactive dashboards, configure subject areas, implement security models.

BIP:

Develop complex report templates, SQL/BIP data models, implement scheduling/bursting.

FDI:

Customize dashboards, integrate non-Oracle data sources where applicable.

FRS:

Work with Oracle Financial Reporting Studio for financial reports. Quality Assurance & Documentation Validate data accuracy and adherence to testing procedures. Document reporting architectures, data models, and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, particularly when handling PII data. Technical Skills Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud applications and their reporting tools. Proficiency in OTBI, BIP, and FDI, including advanced reporting features. Solid understanding of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and XML for troubleshooting and query optimization. Experience with data modeling, database design, and ETL processes. Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and performance optimization. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 8-10 years of experience in reporting/analytics roles. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BIP, FDI). Proven track record in designing reporting solutions within Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and advanced reporting tools. Oracle certifications related to reporting and analytics. Familiarity with Oracle Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) and EPM/Hyperion reporting tools. Experience in Oracle ERP modules, including GL, AR, Billing, Treasury, Payables, and Projects. Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for data integration. Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
