Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Power BI Fabric Support Engineer & Developer to architect, develop, and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions. This full-time hybrid role is based in Jersey City, NJ
, requiring onsite presence one day per week
. Ideal candidates will combine strong technical expertise with effective business communication.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree
Key Responsibilities:
1. Power BI Architecture & Development
Design and maintain end-to-end Power BI architecture, including: Data ingestion via Fabric Pipelines & OneLake
Semantic model optimization
DAX calculations and measures
User-centric dashboard and report design
Enforce governance standards and naming conventions.
Develop and manage enterprise datasets and certified dataflows.
2. Microsoft Fabric Engineering
Leverage Microsoft Fabric tools such as: Direct Lake, Lakehouses, OneLake
Pipelines and Notebooks
Build automated, scalable data workflows for real-time and batch analytics.
3. Power Automate & Workflow Automation
Implement Power Automate flows for: Report refresh and alert systems
Third-party system integration via APIs
Workflow automation to replace manual processes
4. Data Transformation & Scripting
Utilize Power Query (M language) for complex data shaping.
Manage report deployment, validation, and Azure or
REST API
integrations.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Communicate effectively across both technical and business domains.
Produce clear documentation and user guides to support solution delivery.
