Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop, and deploy dashboards and reports using Sigma Computing that empower self-service analytics for business teams. + Connect Sigma to cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and optimize performance of data queries. + Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable solutions. + Build and maintain reusable datasets and data models that support robust reporting capabilities. + Implement data security, including row-level security and access control within the Sigma platform. + Monitor dashboard performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize user experience. + Document processes, data definitions, and usage guidelines to support governance and standardization. + Stay up-to-date with Sigma platform updates and best practices to ensure optimal use of the tool.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience working with Sigma Computing or similar modern BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI). + Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries. + Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake. + Strong understanding of data modeling, including normalized/denormalized structures and star/snowflake schemas. + Ability to build user-friendly dashboards with a focus on performance, usability, and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in building self-service BI environments for business users. + Familiarity with dbt, ETL pipelines, or data orchestration tools. + Exposure to version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development environments. + Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
