Job Description:
PMA is searching for a developer to join its Business Intelligence Team. As a member of the team you will develop and support applications, and support packages, designed to distribute content to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Work with our internal customers to gather business requirements for applications and develop technical specifications.
Develop and maintain applications to support internal and external visualization and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documenting and implementation of applications of average to difficult complexity.
Participate in an on call support rotation.
Install and maintain Qlik and Power BI Data Analytics packages.
Demonstrate commitment to Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.
Requirements:
BS in Information Systems preferred but appropriate business/technical experience acceptable.
Experience in data visualization application development using Qlik, Power BI and Database query writing skills.
Experience with requirements gathering and understanding the needs of the end user.
Create the next generation of BI dashboards using Qlik and Power BI, delivering data insights through visualizations.
Experience in the research, development and support of data visualization technics.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required, team work, as well as the ability to work independently.
Background in data modeling and data mining.
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize time with minimal supervision.
Practical experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools such as Subversion.
