Your role will involve overseeing thedevelopment and dissemination of technology for external customers,vendors, and other clients to help improve and increase business.
You will be responsible for guiding the design, development, andimplementation of our software products and ensuring these alignwith the strategic goals of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Define the company’s technological vision and ensure thattechnological resources meet the company’s short and long-termneeds. Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, andexternal relationships. Build and manage a top-tier technology team to develop andinnovate robust sports management solutions. Oversee the development and maintenance of the product’stechnology roadmap. Monitor technology and social trends that could impact thecompany. Manage research and development (R D) and technologyinitiatives to foster innovation. Ensure that technology standards and best practices aremaintained across the organization. Provide leadership for developing and implementing informationtechnology initiatives that improve cost-effectiveness, servicequality, and business development in a constantly evolvingmarketplace.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or a related field is preferred but not required. Proven 5+ years of experience as a CTO or similar leadershiprole in technology. Experience in building and leading diverse technologyteams. Experience with Ruby on Rails. Sports industry experience is preferred. In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, anddevelopment. Hands-on experience with complex project management. Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadershipskills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Decision-making and problem-solving skills with a focus onresults.
