Job Description

Position Overview This is a senior leadership position responsible for the development and execution of the overall digital strategy for the organization. Scope includes strategy, design, operation and support of websites, digital applications (including online and mobile), digital payment channels and supporting suite of digital solutions. Establish a vision that aligns with modern technology trends, map the vision to our current state and drive transformation throughout the organization, and continue to advance digital capabilities. Oversee all consumer member-facing digital technology solutions, including product management and development. Work closely with numerous operational business lines, information technology functions (particularly application development, integration and security), third party vendors and transaction gateway partners.
Essential Responsibilities:
(25%) Strategy – Develop and manage Digital platform and payment strategy, including delivering best-in-class capabilities, secure and reliable offerings, stable and high-performing platforms, while ensuring integration with enterprise projects and strategy. Drive operational efficiency and revenue generation capabilities with an emphasis on self-service. (20%) Market Research – Develop and empower staff on continuous research in Digital and Technology arena. Stay up to date on latest industry trends, technical advancements and competitive offerings, helping to bridge the gap between business and technology. Establish competitive analysis and benchmarks across peer group. (20%) Organizational Alignment – Partner with senior leaders across the organization in development of overall Digital roadmap strategy. Establish ongoing relationships to ensure balanced roadmap of Digital and SECU business line initiatives. Leads organization change and management readiness, effectively challenging legacy processes and practices. Conduct regular roadmap reviews with partner business units to ensure overall alignment to SECU mission and priorities. (15%) Vendor Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential vendors. Ensure teams are effectively managing key relationships, holding vendors accountable to defined SLAs and obligations, while maintaining professional working relationships. Responsible for financial management of vendor engagements and recurring costs. (20%) Management/Coaching – Provide direct people management, coaching, and mentorship to leaders and teams. Ensure associates receive proper training, development opportunities, and effective and timely feedback. Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Bachelor’s degree and 10 years leading within Digital Strategy and Technology teams, preferably within Financial Industry. Strong verbal and written communication Ability to collaborate and communicate with SECU team members at all levels Advanced management, decision making, and planning experience Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Master’s Degree and 15 years leading within Digital Strategy and Technology teams Financial Industry experience. Preferred certifications – Certified Product Owner, Agile Practitioner, ITSM, CITM, ITIL, PMP, or other relevant experience
