Staff Engineer, Field CTO Office sought by Forter, Inc. in
New York, NYDuties:
Ensure Forter products seamlessly integrate with client platforms. Bridge technical strategy with customer needs, translating complex technology solutions into actionable, client-focused plans. Act as a key liaison for clients to provide hands-on support and custom engineering solutions that allow for smooth implementation and optimal performance of Forter technology in a variety of mobile environments. Design and develop customized Mobile SDKs to meet specific client needs. Lead integration across mobile platforms such as React Native, Flutter, and Cordova. Collaborate directly with client engineers to develop efficient, scalable solutions that align with client mobile architecture and user experience requirements. Ensure compatibility and ease of use for client engineering teams. Monitor performance impact of Forter SDK on client applications. Secure e-commerce and improve clients’ confidence and capabilities to fight fraud and optimize payments. Participate in the complete development cycle, from initial brainstorming and research through to design, implementation, and deployment. Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and streamlined communication for client projects. Ensure compliance with Apple and Google guidelines. Build best practices around SDK usage, integration efficiency, and mobile performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus five (5) progressive years of Software Engineering, Mobile Development, or related experience including three (3) years of experience: developing Software Development Kits (SDKs) from requirements through production; performing in all phases of the software development life cycle; designing and implementing mobile CI/CD platforms and processes; implementing machine learning and AI applications in fraud prevention; writing UI/End-to-End testing; building mobile apps with flutter/react native; developing mobile SDK for Android and iOS; analyzing iOS security issues; utilizing and documenting mobile fraud detection technologies and best practices; and utilizing technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Native, React, Swift, Objective-C, Java, Gradle, Xcode, Git, MVC, MVVM, TDD, and Agile. Telecommuting permissible few days per week.

$215,000/year
