Position Summary:

The GBS Business DataStrategy Leader will define and lead the implementation of our datastrategy in partnership with our Executive Leadership team and ITorganization. The role will be instrumental in transforming ourdata assets into actionable insights, aligning data initiativeswith business goals, implementing a strong governance program, andfostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Build and manage a high-performing businessinsights and governance team, managing a team of 6-10 full-timeemployees.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy thatsupports business needs via collaboration with functional arealeaders and their teams, as well as data & analytics peers.
  • Leadinitiatives in collaboration with IT to improve data governance andquality, along with master data management.
  • Build out a datastewardship program, including data catalog and training of ourcommunity of data analysts.
  • Identify and execute on data andanalytics use cases across the organization to drive business valueand enable decision making.
  • Oversee build out of consolidateddata sets sourced from Group Data Hub, while sunsetting legacytools.
  • Collaborate with enterprise teams where applicable toensure consistency of approaches where applicable and leveragetheir skill sets as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA,privacy, and data security standards.
  • Define and track key dataand analytics KPIs.
Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience indata strategy and analytics, preferably in insurance or financialservices.
  • Established understanding of group life and disabilityinsurance products, processes, and regulations.
  • Proven experiencedeveloping and executing data strategies and use cases in complexenvironments.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks,data architecture, and data quality management.
  • Excellentleadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Amazon WebServices tech stack, Databricks, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degreepreferred.
Pay Transparency Salary Range:

$137,500-$237,500Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Salesbonus eligible: No Actual base salary will be determined based onseveral factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills,qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees areeligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to basesalary, employees may also be eligible to participate in anincentive program.
