FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst Specialists in Jacksonville, FL to design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. Provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Application, Applied Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with end-to-end systems development life cycles including waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development; utilizing business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML) and use cases; communicating to technical and nontechnical audiences of various levels in the organization including executive, management, and individual contributors; engineering practices, including reliability solution engineering, unit testing and documenting business requirements; and applying agile methodology for project delivery and quality system development practice. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and four (4) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
