PROGRAMMER – SYSTEM AUTOMATION

– Odessa, Florida StreamGo water facilities incorporate advanced component systems to leverage the digital world of controls, monitoring and communications to create a platform for advanced AI functions. As our in-house Programmer, you’ll have an opportunity to shape the electronic brains of some of the most advanced market disrupting water treatment systems in the market.

ABOUT YOU

You’ve done this before. You know one end of a wastewater treatment plant from another and once you join us, you’ll be able to hit the ground running. You can write a program from supplied control narratives, PIDs, electrical schematics and control logic. If something isn’t running right with the program, you can troubleshoot and fix it. You’re able to structure, streamline and push the next level of program advancement as each project presents the opportunity. Need to learn a new platform? It won’t scare you. Minimum Requirements:

Sound knowledge and understanding of water and wastewater treatment plant control systems. Advanced familiarity with PLC/PCA panel layouts, loop diagrams, instrument installation details, HMI Panels and Process Control Narratives. Expertise working with manufacturer platforms Allen-Bradley and Siemens . The experience and skills to learn other platforms if the job requires it. The ability to travel throughout the US to job sites as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement automation systems for StreamGo’s water and wastewater treatment units. Collaborate professionally with other company departments and outside consultants to design and optimize our automation systems. Maintain and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers and related systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a valid driver’s license for site visits.
