Home Automation Programmer Elite HTA (Home Theaters & Automation) Miami, FL 33155 Software Programmer – Home Automation Job Description Our high-end custom home integration company needs motivated and professional Software Engineer. We are looking for professionals to join our installation and service teams. Must have experience in installing and servicing residential technology systems. We are looking for individuals with field experience that are looking to be part of an elite team. We work on some of the most challenging projects with diverse technologies. This is a great opportunity for the right professional to deploy the most exquisite low voltage systems such as audio and video, home networking, and home automation. On the job and manufacturer product training will be provided and encouraged. Industry and career certifications will also be available. Candidates must be self-motivated, very personable, of good character, professional presentation, and detail-oriented with good organization and leadership skills. Qualifications:
3 – 5 years of field experience installing programming Lutron Ra3′ QS’ QSX, Crestron Simple & Home, Savant, Control 4. Experience installing both hard-wired and wireless systems. Must be familiar with construction principles and how to effectively install hard-wired systems in both new and existing homes. Must have experience troubleshooting existing systems isolating and repairing systems. Must be able to effectively use voltage/ohm meters to install and troubleshoot. Must be able to work in confined areas such as crawlspaces and attics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Able to lift heavy objects/boxes and climb ladders. Must be self-motivated when working alone, but able to work with and lead a team. A clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Must be able to work in the United States, and pass a criminal background check.
