Local •CACI is seeking an experienced Power BI Programmer, SME to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the
USSOUTHCOM
Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES II). Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of Power BI solution architecture and security controls for enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Programmer, SME Leads design, development, and maintenance of interactive Power BI reports and dashboards in support of
USSOUTHCOM ESD
services Architects and optimizes efficient data models to support reporting and analytical needs, enabling data-centric operations that provide a decisive military advantage Leads data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks to ensure data is ready for analysis, helping to characterize, shape, and normalize the data within the EIE Designs, writes, and optimizes DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and custom calculations for advanced data analysis Leads integration of data from databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and other platforms, into Power BI for analysis Spearheads optimization of Power BI reports, troubleshooting and optimizing performance of Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models Collaborates closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and end users to understand their data needs Implements and advises management of user roles and security settings in Power BI to control access Establishes and oversees data quality assurance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality of data used in reports and dashboards Creates and maintains thorough documentation for Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models Provides advanced training and support to users on how to access and interpret Power BI reports and dashboards Oversees version control for Power BI reports and dashboards Leads resolution of issues with Power BI reports, data sources, or performance problems Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge May supervise others
Required Experience:
Must have Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) A minimum of 13+ years of relevant experience Must possess an active Secret security clearance. Required 8140

Desired Microsoft Specialist Programming or Power Platform Architect Expert•Microsoft Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of Power BI solution architecture and security controls for enterprise environments. Demonstrated experience leading design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards, resolving complex Power BI issues, and overseeing version control for Power BI assets. Demonstrates leadership experience in data integration and data quality assurance. Possesses expertise in designing complex data models, optimizing ETL processes, and crafting sophisticated DAX formulas to enable data-centric operations. Desired background includes experience supporting Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) services and data-driven decision-making in military or government environments.•________________________________________________________________________________________
