Job Overview:
The Programmer Analyst’s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and deliver technology solutions. This includes writing, coding, testing, analyzing and delivering in client-server, web and mobile applications. The Programmer Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify technology solutions throughout the project life cycle. The position will also coordinate the transition of completed project solutions to various IT Operational support teams.
Key Responsibilities :
System Analysis & Design :
Analyze the current business processes, design, implement and test web applications involving new features and functionality from functional requirements
Programming:
Designing and coding web applications, POC, mock-ups for both responsive and mobile websites/web applications in ASP .Net, C# in
MVC Architecture Database Design :
Ability to understand & design database in SQL Server, Pervasive SQL and design and program database tables, stored procedures, database functions
Data Analysis :
Ability to understand the data, trends, patterns and convert it into actionable intelligence in the form of Reports, Dashboards using Crystal Reports, Power BI, DevExpress.
System Performance:
Ability to understand database performance bottlenecks and work on measures to improve performance
Web/Database Server Maintenance :
Manage and support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of web server, database server, file server related to business application.
User Support :
Provide application support to users, diagnosing and resolving programming/data issues for various business applications.
Collaboration :
Work closely with the IT team and other departments to support IT applications and ensure systems meet company needs.
Documentation :
Maintain detailed application documentation, including system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides to ensure functional continuity.
Skills :
Programming:
Very well-versed in programming responsive and mobile websites/web applications in ASP .Net, C# in MVC Architecture, flutter, Crystal Reports, Power BI, DevExpress.
Database Programming:
Experienced in database table design and writing stored procedure, db functions using
SQL Server Performance Tuning:
Proficient in identifying performance bottlenecks in SQL routines and improve performance using various techniques.
Troubleshooting :
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application issues.
Communication :
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical team members and end-users.
Time Management :
Effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Adaptability :
Stay updated with new technologies and advancements in software solutions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as programmer/analyst or in a similar role. Experience preferred in business analysis, system design, problem solving, end user management Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), Microsoft 365 and integration with business networks is a plus.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to travel to multiple office and project locations for requirement gathering, end user training and support when necessary. Occasional availability outside of regular business hours for end user application support.
