We are currently seeking a Junior Data Processing Specialist / Programmer for our Canton, MA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing mailing list data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with USPS regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical mindset who is looking to grow in the field of direct mail data processing. Primary Job Responsibilities Use BCC Ignite software to import, cleanse, validate, and merge mailing list data. Perform data hygiene processes, including deduplication, address standardization, and NCOA Link (National Change of Address) processing. Pre-sort mailing lists according to USPS standards to help clients qualify for postage discounts. Generate reports on mailing list activity and identify any potential issues. Troubleshoot and resolve data processing issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure mailing accuracy and on-time delivery. Required Skills Basic knowledge of any programming language. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Education & Experience Associate degree or high school diploma (with relevant technical experience) Experience working in a print or mail production environment preferred but not required. Familiarity with USPS mailing regulations or the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) preferred but not required.
