Sirius Staffing is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst for a Remote, 6-month Contract-for-hire position.
Position:
Programmer/Analyst –
Senior Department/Location:
Information Technology/Jackson, MS/Remote
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, program and enhance program applications with little to no supervision
Develop adhoc programs as requests are received from management Troubleshoot software and hardware applications Perform iSeries systems related on-call duties on a rotation
Provide leadership and training to lower-level Programmers
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS B.S.
degree in computer science or programming related field; or Associate’s degree and two years of experience.
Knowledge of structured software design principles. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
