PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Provide database and programming support to the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS OF THE POSITION

Design, develop, and maintain databases to support business operations and application development. Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in various programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement database and software solutions. Support the ERP software, including configuring modules, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance. Write reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, Telerik or other reporting tools to extract and analyze data for business insights. Work help desk tickets, providing timely resolutions and exceptional customer service. Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and database tuning. Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information. Troubleshoot and resolve database and software issues in a timely manner. Document database schemas, software architectures, and development processes. Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in database management and software development. OF THE POSITION

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field. End user-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Expert IT skills and advanced knowledge of operating systems. Strong Typing Skills Strong aptitude for math and analytical problem-solving skills. Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, SQL, C#, and HTML. Aptitude for learning new technology and adapting to changing environments. Deadline-driven with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Good visual acuity and color vision. Ability to walk, stand, bend, or reach for extended periods (up to 12 hours). Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work on any shift (day or night/12-hour shifts) as required. Must be able to adhere to stringent security and safety rules.
