PLCM Software Engineer Cheshire
CT JOB SUMMARY
Design andmaintain control software used in chemical automation equipment.
This will include programming, testing, and remote customerassistance in the deployment of solutions used in the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide the technicalexpertise required for computer & PLC setup, programming, andtroubleshooting. Planning/writing of programming code as necessary,to ensure the end product meets functional goals expected of theproduct on required schedules. Provide on-site assistance duringsystem start-up, commissioning and maintenance Support the creationof technical product documentation and information Estimate andreport on project status Assist field technicians introubleshooting applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Entry levelexperience with C# and .NET programming is required Entry levelexperience with SQL database such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL Entrylevel experience designing and developing user interface Basic webdevelopment a plus Experience with LabVIEW is a plus Experiencewith PLC controls a plus Electrical experience is a plus Experiencewith Modbus is a plus Strong communications and organizationalskills are required EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree incomputer science, computer engineering, or related field;equivalent experience will be considered 1-2 years programmingexperience preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasionally (Up to 20%of work time)

Experience with Google Docs Gitexperience is a plus COMMUNICATION and/or
