Job Description

Program Analyst Engineering and Information Technologies Inc. Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 EIT is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support an FAA contract with analytical support for the preparation, review and coordination of plans, change documents, presentation, etc.

Responsibilities:

Conducts research, evaluations, analyses, and studies, and presents recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements. Specific expertise may be required in configuration management, Earned Value Management, financial management, cost estimation, or risk management. Performs basic, but progressively more difficult assignments, under the close direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Typically acts as a member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility. Applies basic knowledge of and experience with analytical and evaluative techniques to accomplish assignments. Typical assignments may include; collecting, recording, and reconciling data/information; conducting research; identifying problems; and assisting higher level professionals in day-to-day operations. Coordinates with a manager, project/program manager, team leader or more experienced professional to plan time and use assigned resources to accomplish tasks such as managing and monitoring travel requirements for program participants. Participates in program and internal controls audits; Uses a variety of software programs to prepare narrative documents, reports, graphs and charts. Reviews outgoing correspondence for proper grammar, formatting, and accuracy. Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis. Contacts are primarily internal to the organizational unit with a manager and other employees to share information, provide data and/or written analyses, and discuss the statuses of assignments. May have contacts with customers and other external parties on routine matters such as gathering information, explaining regulations, and discussing customers’ situations. Established policies/procedures provide detailed guidance for almost all assignments, with little or no room for discretion. Works under detailed instructions provided by a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Regularly refers problems and work issues to a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional for guidance. Work is reviewed regularly during assignments and at completion to ensure timeliness and all aspects of quality. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree as required, as well as 6 to 20 years’ of experience in a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience integrating work efforts involving decision support systems;
  • Ability to communicate with various organizations within the FAA
  • Experience preparing technical documentation for executive consumption (documentation, status reporting for high visibility programs);
  • Experience coordinating work performed at an operational FAA facility that involves FAA management, members from the PMO staff, and vendors.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Developing briefing packages, graphs, presentation materials, and other documents to support the program.
  • Pay will be commensurate with experience and skills.
