Coordines ongoing da collection and performs analysis to determine optimal organizional performance. Coordines with other staff to identify informion needs and develops da collection methods and report forms to meet those needs. Investiges problems th impact the quality and efficiency of Health Administrion Service operions. Discusses problem areas with personnel concerned to identify and implement remedial action to be taken. Follows through to ensure program requirements are met and planned actions have been initied and are effective. Implements amendment of business office programs where necessary.

Training consists of development and presention of both formal lectures and on-the-job sessions to those employees who entering, changing, and extracting da. Trains users in resolving minor processing end equipment problems.
System Needs Planning/Contingency and Access Control:
Plans initiives for hardware and software needs for the service. Responsible for working with VA trouble-shooting design and software implemention teams along with the preparion and implemention of the business contingency plans for system failure specifically addressing manual system backup plans addressing how day to day business conducted for long and short-term outages. Responsible for determining the physical and da security needs for the service areas and implements necessary improvements. Assesses individual needs to determine approprie level of menu access for staff, Regional Office employees, and employees from VISN VA facilities. Reviews access to terminal and file codes for the purpose of controlling access to the pient and medical records to assure compliance with the Privacy Act and Cyber Security regulions. Performs other reled duties as assigned.
