Manufacturer Programmer General Cutting LTD Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in programming with a focus on mechanical systems and avionics. This role requires proficiency in various technical skills, to support our projects effectively. The Programmer will be responsible for creating models off of blue prints, and knowledgeable in creating programs as well as tooling. Responsibilities Develop and maintain software applications tailored to mechanical systems and avionics. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues in software and hardware integration. Ensure all programming activities comply with Federal Aviation Regulations. Requirements Proficiency in programming languages relevant to mechanical systems and avionics. Some familiarity with power tools and their safe operation. Mechanical knowledge, particularly in blue print reading. Experience with precision measuring instruments is highly desirable. Ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis for troubleshooting purposes. Understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations related to avionics systems is a plus.
