Sr. Mainframe Systems Programmer
Location:

We’re looking for an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to manage and enhance our client’s IBM z/OS MQ mainframe environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve test and production issues promptly.
Cater to customer requests, including creating new queues, queue managers, and adjusting queue depths.
Participate in diverse projects, from installing the latest MQ release to configuring MQ on servers.
Analyze error reports and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Conduct internal monitoring, such as checking queue depth.
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
6 years of IT work experience, including varied systems programming experience.
Proficiency in JCL, mainframe/host experience, IBM z/OS MQ mainframe, experience creating/maintaining queue managers and queues.
