Programmer Analyst Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

Programmer Analyst Quality Staffing Nashville, TN 37243 Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area’s top companies, is looking for an experienced Programmer Analyst to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation (TN EC) located in Nashville, TN. This is a remote position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours. The pay rate for this position is $52.50 per hour. Duties and Responsibilities for Programmer Analyst position: Define and analyze functional business requirements for designing and developing programs for desktop and distributed environments which includes personal computers, client server environments, and browser-based or n-tier environments. Develop design specifications and/or translate detailed design specs into computer software. Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Troubleshoot and enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Education and Experience Requirements for Programmer Analyst position: Requires a minimum of two (2) years of current experience in this job class.

Primary skill sets required include:

Knowledge of SOLARIS and Windows operating systems Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Oracle Internet Development tools and Oracle Application Server J2EE and .NET architectural frameworks Visual Basic, Java, and .NET programming languages Visual Basic Script, JavaScript, JSPs, EJBs, XML, and HTML Secondary skill sets required include: Knowledge of Microsoft’s Internet Information Server (IIS), Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to provide the functionality of encryption and decryption of data Object Oriented and UML methodologies Knowledge of other State software standards for desktop and distributed systems Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and a relational database such as Oracle 19g. Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies to improve efficiency. Ability to diagnose and resolve database issues and errors. Ability to understand and implement measures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. MUST be local to the Nashville area
