This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing top-notch support to our users. You will be responsible for guiding your team in delivering exceptional service while maintaining high standards of network security and system performance. Responsibilities Lead and manage the IT support team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members. Oversee desktop support, server management, and systems engineering tasks to maintain optimal performance. Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls and other protective technologies. Utilize tools such as Jira for tracking issues and managing project workflows effectively. Administer Active Directory for user account management and permissions. Monitor system performance using Solarwinds, addressing any issues proactively. Provide technical guidance on IIS (Internet Information Services) configurations and troubleshooting. Develop training programs for team members to enhance their skills in desktop support and network security. Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in IT services. Requirements Proven experience in an IT support role with a focus on systems engineering, desktop support, and server management. Strong knowledge of network security principles and practices, including firewall management. Familiarity with tools such as Jira for project management and issue tracking. Proficiency in Active Directory administration for user account management. Experience with monitoring tools like Solarwinds to ensure system reliability.
