Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with Uncrewed Aviation Systems (UAS) groups in the integration, development test of UAS ground control systems per established requirements. Collaborate with the other UAS teams on the integration of new technology supporting the ground control system enhanced functionality. Basic Qualifications BS in computer science, software engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited institution with four (4) years of applicable experience or ten (10) additional years of experience in lieu of degree. Possess at least five (5) years of experience leading personnel and teams of personnel in a technically focused work environment. Possess at least two (2) years of experience managing and leading technical personnel in completion of Unmanned Aircraft system/subsystem software development and/or integration projects for CCDC AvMC / DEVCOM / S3I in support of PM UAS (US Army). Possess a strong background in Atlassian tools and the implementation of Agile Scrum in DoD programs. Must be a US citizen, possess and be able to maintain a Secret clearance. Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area. Preferred Qualifications Experience authoring system development plans or software development plans. Detailed understanding of the U.S. Army Ground Control Station software. Experience with Tactical Messaging software and message formats. Experience with software safety and associated developmental implications.
