Alliance Cancer Care is a busy, multi-location radiation oncology physician medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through advanced technology and compassionate service. As we expand and modernize our IT infrastructure, we are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The IT Desktop Support Specialist will provide hands-on technical support to staff and clinicians across all locations. Position will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support system upgrades, and help maintain a stable and secure IT environment critical to patient care and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support for staff at multiple clinic locations. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Set up and configure new workstations, user accounts, and access permissions. Support staff in using clinical software, including ARIA (Varian), Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems. Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and IT infrastructure projects. Collaborate with the broader IT team on data cleanup, equipment rollouts, and departmental improvements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in desktop support, help desk, or preferred). Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common hardware/peripherals. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Experience in a healthcare setting or familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
