The Defense sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an IT Support Specialist to work in our Huntsville, AL office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping our customers at the U.S. Army’s Aviation and Missile Center. Primary Responsibilities The candidate will contribute to the effort focused on cybersecurity operations support for developmental labs. Candidate will be required to support multiple tasks in parallel, productively contribute to team engagements, and communicate effectively to management, coworkers, and customers. Candidate must show willingness to expand technical expertise to increase the impact of contributions across the team and client mission. Basic Qualifications BS degree in Information Technology Understanding of networking and systems administration standards and technologies. Active Linux+ CE certification Candidate must also comply with the experience, training, and certification requirements IAW DoD 8570.01 IAT level II. Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area. US Citizenship required and eligibility to obtain and maintain secret level security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Strong communication skills Ability to work in a highly technical, team-oriented environment that includes customers and co-workers Strong desire to learn and constantly improve
