The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for various computer systems and networks. A successful candidate will have a track record of understanding in business desktop and server technologies that must include: Windows 10 and 11 workstations, Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022 servers, advanced networking, and vendor-specific hardware and software. Duties Provide technical support for hardware and software issues related to computer systems and mobile devices. Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. Assist users with help desk inquiries, resolving issues in a timely manner. Analyze system performance and implement improvements as needed. Maintain firewall configurations to protect network integrity. Ensure all computer management tasks are executed effectively, including updates and backups. Document all service requests and resolutions in the ticketing system for future reference. Monitors alert systems and take appropriate action as per guidelines. Ability to use various messages in an event log to affect repairs. Receive escalated service requests requiring an enhanced response. Network Services and Equipment Installation LAN/WAN Installation and Maintenance Support Experience Must have worked for an MSP (managed services provider) in the past. RMM and PSA Experience Excellent customer service skills (courteous, tactful, and professional demeanor). A willingness to learn and grow Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position is preferred. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, is essential. Experience with mobile devices management is a plus. Understanding of networking concepts, particularly firewall management, is beneficial. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems quickly and effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
