6-month contract with potential togo long term Position Description Serve as the 1st Point of Contactfor clients and customers at Department of Finance Perform generaltroubleshooting with customer via phone contact Documentclient/customer issues and requests, troubleshooting steps, andresolutions via ServiceNow ticketing system Route unresolvedtickets to appropriate Tier 2 staff Follow-up and updateclients/customers and internal teams as appropriate Follow, review,and update all Service Desk procedures. Limited systemsadministration work Diagnose and resolve problems using documentedprocedures and checklists in the performance of mostresponsibilities. Resolve, escalate and track customer servicetickets through to resolution Skills Required 1 year Service/HelpDesk experience General knowledge of troubleshooting and Tier 1application support Great customer service skills Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal Proficient with MSOffice Word and Excel – Demonstrated ability to produce and editdocumentation: (e.g. wireframes/ mockups/ prototypes/ report designetc.) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect,organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amount ofinformation with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to takeinitiative, prioritize duties, problem solve, work independentlyand within a team environment, pay close attention to detail, meetdeadlines, do appropriate follow-up
Skills PreferredPreferred/Bonus:
Knowledge of Ivalua Procurement applicationKnowledge of CGI Advantage application Knowledge of CGI HRMapplication Experience with support or configuring ERP styleapplications Two years of experience in troubleshooting andinstalling business and/or Government applications softwareExperience Required 1 year Service/Help Desk experience 1 yearknowledge of troubleshooting and Tier 1 application supportEducation Required High school diploma with 1 year troubleshootingsoftware (IT Tech) Preferred 1 year of credit from an accreditedcollege or technical school in the field of Information Systems
