Job Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist II to provide support, technical assistance, and advice to end users for hardware and software. This position will be full-time and onsite in Little Rock, AR. What You’ll Do Receive phone calls that come into our Applications Support Team This position will be the point of contact for tier level 1 support and users who are having a problem with the MOVE Software and escalates issues as necessary The chosen candidate will escalate issues to the MOVE team and/or vendor and communicate with programmers to advise of software errors and recommend changes Write or revise user-training manuals and procedures The candidate will be expected to assist in testing software changes to evaluate ease of use weather product will aid user in performing work The candidate may assist with training users on software via virtual classroom setting.
What You’ll Need Required:
3 years’ experience supporting customers with excellent phone etiquette 2 years’ experience with Windows 11 Software Testing/Analytics experience Experience troubleshooting hardware and software Experience installing software via remote
Preferred:
SQL/ Programming Knowledge Good Windows Troubleshooting skills to include hardware and software knowledge are helpful as well Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor The pay range for this position is $16 – $18 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
