Job Description
Description We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Help Desk Technician with 2 years of experience to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide first and second-level technical support to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. + Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications. + Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams as needed. + Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and user interactions. + Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning. + Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom). + Monitor and manage IT assets and inventory. + Follow IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security and compliance.
Requirements Required Qualifications:
+ Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 2+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role. + Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems. + Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications. + Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshdesk). + Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., PowerShell). + Exposure to ITIL practices.
