PC Support Technician 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars El Dorado, AR 71730 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated PC Technician to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional desktop support and troubleshooting services to ensure optimal performance of computer systems. This role requires strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of computer networking principles, including Windows Server environments and macOS systems. Duties Provide desktop support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Windows Server, DNS, TCP/IP, and LAN connectivity. Communicate clearly with users to understand their technical issues and provide step-by-step guidance for resolution. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals. Monitor network performance and assist in maintaining network security protocols. Document all support interactions in the ticketing system for tracking and reporting purposes. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users. Knowledge of Windows Server environments, DNS configurations, TCP/IP networking, and LAN setups is essential. Familiarity with macOS systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are advantageous but not required.
