Job Description
Computer Technician 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Manchester, CT We are looking for a dedicated Computer Technician to join our team in Manchester, CT. As part of this role, you will be responsible for traveling to client locations to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and specialized imaging equipment. This position requires strong customer service skills as you will be representing our company in the field.
Primary Responsibilities:
Travel to client sites to install and set up hardware and software systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to networks, computers, and peripheral devices Regularly maintain IT and mechanical equipment Provide clear and friendly technical support to end users Document work completed using a ticketing system Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution of service requests
Required Qualifications:
Willingness to travel frequently within southern New England Demonstrated mechanical skills Proficiency in computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable mode of transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in installing and configuring computer systems at customer locations Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing systems Ability to systematically troubleshoot complex technical issues Additional Experience (Nice to have, but not required): Background in dental or medical environments Knowledge or hands-on practice with 3D imaging and dental X-ray systems Experience with automated ticketing systems
